The AGM was a big success.

In May we held a successful AGM, with nearly 40 members and stakeholders in attendance. The evening commenced with a thought-provoking presentation on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. Reports from our Chair, General Manager and Treasurer shared some of our highlights and achievements of the past year and exiting news of what’s coming up this year. The 2015 Annual Report was made available on the night and copies are now available at reception or can be found on our website: www.kccc.org.au A presentation was also held to thank our exiting Board Members including: • Samantha Plumb 2013-2015 • Lisa Whiffen 2013-2015 • Sarah Colman 2013-2015 • Andie Carr 2013-2015 • Natalie Spark 2015 Their commitment and dedication to the continuous improvement of our governance, management and our centre as a whole have been invaluable. Assisting us to shape our strategic plan, alongside developing our strong business profile. The appointment of our 2016 Board of Directors introduces two new, three returning and four continuing Directors to the Board. This provides KCCC with the benefit of continuity in experience and expertise, as well as new perspectives and approaches. We welcome our incoming Board of Directors and wish them another successful and fulfilling year: • Felix Ohle Trixie, Wattle Room • Julie Baynes William, Gumnut Room • John Lalor Grace, Banksia Room • Theo Gouskos Mila, Acacia Room • Alastair Hampton Eddie, Acacia Room Being part of a children’s cooperative is quite unique and by it’s very nature requires all stakeholders to work together for its common purpose, to support children and their families within the context of a caring and supporting community. If you would like to join one of our sub-committee’s please contact Sigi at generalmanager@kccc.org.au or the Board directly on kccc.board.3031@gmail.com
