My name is Shazia. I’ve been part of the KCCC team for 7 years. I did a Bachelor of Art in Pakistan and completed my Diploma of Children and Community Services in Melbourne. I am married and have two daughters in their early 20’s and a 7 year old son. Family is very important to me and I enjoy spending time with my family to go for long nature walks and hiking on the weekends.
Nothing rewards me more than the friendly, sociable, warm atmosphere of KCCC.
I love international foods, discovering new recipes, books and music from around the world. I speak English, Urdu and Punjabi. I love travelling and look forward to more of it in the next few years. I empathise with children and want them to learn empathy for others, and to respect themselves and become self-confident. I also believe that being a role model is the best tool for teaching young children. I like and enjoy promoting the multicultural vibe that the KCCC community brings.
