Children’s Rooms

Our bright spacious children’s rooms, open to a shared playground, creating a vibrant space that encourages cooperative play, connection with peers and siblings supporting our integrated approach across the entire space.

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, we use our environment as the third teacher. Our spaces are thoughtfully designed to spark discovery, curiosity and imagination, fostering a love for learning and development. With a strong focus on sustainability, we use natural resources, recycled materials and interest-based tolls and equipment to enhance and expand children’s skills and knowledge in exciting and meaningful ways!

At KCCC, our children’s rooms are named after Australian native trees, reflecting our commitment to celebrating nature’s role in early learning. This initiative, inspired by consultations with children and families, symbolises strength, growth and connection to nature – key elements in children’s development. By embedding these values into our environment, we foster a sense of belonging and respect for the world around us, honouring both our local community and the natural world.
