Our History
KCCC was established in 1982 in Henry Street, Kensington as a 35-place long day care centre.
In 1996, when demand far exceeded the capabilities of the centre, the City of Melbourne built the facilities in Altona Street, alongside the existing kindergarten.
The service relocated to its current 140-place facility, which includes 80 places for 4-year-old kindergarten.
